Why "Blue Collar"?

Comics are working class art.

Why "Working Stiff"?

It turns out "Blue Collar" was taken back in 2000 and the guy only just posted a website. Rather than engage in an ugly bout of litigation I decided to take the moral high road and just change my name. I liked "Working Stiff" because it has a similar feel to BC and "Proletariate Comics" seemed a little too commie.

Isn't it possible that you might get sued by those people who put on the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour"?

Not any more.

Why not just make a "Negotiator" comic?

I want to continue the Negotiator saga, but I also want the opportunity to experiment with different types of stories and art.

Is this profitable for you?

No.

Why bother making a comic book at all?

Childhood dream.

Are you really a continuation high school teacher?

Yes.

Have you ever been interviewed?

Just once. You can read it here.

Has your work ever been reviewed?

I have been reviewed a bunch of time now. Blue Collar #1 and 2, Working Stiff #3 and the Mean Muggin' Mini by Silver Bullet Comics. and BC #1 and 2 over at Optical Sloth.
